With the coming of significant investments—Sound Transit’s bus rapid transit (BRT) and a park-and-ride structure in the vicinity of the Town Center—the community in Lake Forest Park has an amazing, once in a lifetime opportunity to help shape the long-term vision for the heart of the City. This vision will be captured in a new “Central Subarea Plan.” The Plan will serve as a framework to help the City Council develop policies regarding land use, zoning, and connections within the Central Subarea and will include:

• Development economics analysis,
• Integration of a transit station into the subarea, and
• Robust community-wide visioning about best opportunities.
